Our country was successfully represented at the ethnocultural festival in Kiev
The Azerbaijani diaspora was also represented at the ethnocultural festival held in Kiev, Ukraine. The event, initiated by the local city hall, was attended by representatives of various nationalities living in Ukraine.
The Azerbaijani pavilion, organized with the support of the United Diaspora of Ukraine Azerbaijanis (UDUA), featured national carpets, clothes, books, musical instruments and paintings. The design of the pavilion, samples of national music, dance and kitchen of our people were met with great interest by festival participants and guests. At the festival, the ensemble "Caucasus" led by Nijat Mirzayev performed our national dances and it brought great interest to the event.
The head of UDUA Hikmet Javadov said that the artist Asgar Javadov has done a great job in the design of ancient and modern images of Baku, and during the festival, the Azerbaijani artist gave a master class to those who wish. "We thank everyone who contributed this event, especially Askar Javadov and Nijat Mirzayev. In our opinion, the Azerbaijani diaspora was represented in this festival at a high level," Javadov said.
