Victims of Ganja and Barda terror were commemorated in Ankara

Ankara Music and Arts University hosted a memorial concert dedicated to the memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks in Ganja and Barda.

The event held under the motto "One nation, two states, one heart!" was attended by Azerbaijani intellectuals, representatives of the local community, professors, teachers and students of Ankara Music and Arts University.

After the performing of national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Azerin, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Toghrul Ganiyev and other Azerbaijani and Turkish artists performed.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim, Rector of Ankara Music and Arts University, Professor Erol Parlak spoke about the eternal friendship and brotherhood relations between the two countries. It was stressed that targeting the civilian population of Barda region with cluster bombs, the use of which is prohibited against the civilian population, is a war crime.

During the event, Azerbaijani and Turkish flags painted by artists on canvas were demonstrated, and the flags of both countries were hung on the main building of Ankara Music and Arts University.
